Terms & Conditions
Last updated 2026
Please read these terms carefully. By creating an account or using Pothik, you agree to them.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using Pothik (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The service
Pothik is a private personal-productivity application for managing projects, tasks, notes, a journal, finance, health, drawings, mindmaps, a calendar and related content. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
3. Accounts & account security
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials (including any passkeys or linked social-login accounts) and for all activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
If you suspect any unauthorized access to your account, notify us promptly through the support channel in your account settings. We are not responsible for losses arising from a compromise of your account caused by your own failure to keep your credentials secure — for example, sharing your password, reusing it on another site that was breached, or falling for a phishing attempt.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to use Pothik only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Without limiting the above, you must not:
- gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems or networks (i.e. hacking);
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach or circumvent any security or authentication measures, without our prior written authorization;
- interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service (for example, denial-of-service attacks or automated traffic that degrades the Service for others);
- reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service except as expressly permitted by applicable law;
- scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Service beyond your own account's normal use;
- upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful or malicious code;
- impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity; or
- use the Service to store or distribute unlawful content, or in any way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, and may report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.
5. Plans, free trial & billing
There is no permanent free plan. Every new account starts with a 1 month free free trial of the 5 GB plan — the complete product. After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ only by storage:
- Plus — 10 GB at $3.99/month (USD).
- Pro — 20 GB at $5.99/month (USD).
- Max — 50 GB at $10.99/month (USD).
- ProMax — 200 GB at $24.99/month (USD).
Plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals. Because every account receives a full 1 month free trial of the complete product specifically so you can use and judge Pothik before paying anything, all payments for paid plans are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law. Please use the trial to evaluate Pothik before purchasing a plan.
6. One price for everyone — no offers
We do not run discounts, coupons, promotional pricing, or “limited-time” offers. We believe charging different people different prices for the same product is unfair, so the published price is the price every customer pays. The only no-cost period is the trial described above.
7. Your content
All content you create and store in Pothik (“User Content”) remains your property. You can export it at any time and delete it (or your whole account) whenever you choose. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store and display your content back to you so the Service can function.
8. Intellectual property
Pothik, including its code, design, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable law. These Terms do not grant you rights to our trademarks or branding.
9. Service availability & security
We take reasonable measures to protect the Service and your data, including encrypted connections and database-level access controls that restrict each account to its own data. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure operation, and no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
We are not liable for unauthorized access to, alteration of, or loss of data resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including attacks by third parties, or events of force majeure. If a security incident affects your data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
10. Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Pothik is a personal organisational tool and is not a substitute for professional medical, financial, legal, or tax advice. Decisions you make based on your records are your own.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the Service — including loss or unauthorized access to data resulting from a security incident, attack by a third party, or compromise of your own account credentials. To the extent any liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: your misuse of the Service; your User Content; your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right; or unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to safeguard your credentials.
13. Reporting security vulnerabilities
We welcome responsible reports of security vulnerabilities. If you believe you've found one, please report it privately through the support channel in your account settings rather than disclosing it publicly, and give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address it before any public disclosure. We will not pursue legal action against researchers who act in good faith, avoid privacy violations and service disruption, and follow this policy.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date; continued use after a change means you accept the revised Terms.
