Privacy Policy

Last updated 2026

Pothik is built privacy-first. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over your data. In plain terms: your content is yours, and it is isolated to your account at the database level.

What we collect

  • Account data — your email and authentication details, used to sign you in and secure your account.
  • Content you create — projects, tasks, notes, journal entries, finance and health records, drawings, mindmaps, files and the like. Stored so the app works for you.
  • Minimal operational data — basic logs needed to run the service reliably and to show you your own activity.

We do not sell your data, and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.

How your data is isolated

Every record is scoped to your user account through database row-level security — not as an optional setting, but as the only way the system reads or writes data. Another user cannot query your rows.

Health & financial information

Pothik lets you keep sensitive health and financial records. These are treated like all your other content: private to your account, never sold, and exportable or deletable by you at any time. You decide what to store.

Storage & files

Files and images you upload count toward your plan’s storage. They are stored under your account and served over secure, signed links.

Your rights

  • Export — download everything you’ve created at any time from Settings.
  • Delete — delete your account and its data; this is irreversible.
  • Access & correction — view and edit your data directly in the app.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your content is removed from our production database. Backups age out on a rolling schedule.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we’ll update this page and the “last updated” date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated policy.
