One fair price, a real trial, no refunds — our whole pricing philosophy
We get two questions a lot: "Do you have a discount code?" and "Can I get a refund if Pothik isn't for me?"
Both have the same honest answer: no — and we never will. Here's why, and why we think that's actually good news for you.
Offers quietly punish the people who trust you
An "offer" means the same product sells for two different prices: one for the person who hunts for a coupon, and a higher one for the person who simply trusts you and pays. The loyal customer ends up subsidising the bargain hunter.
We think that's a quiet form of cheating. So we don't do it.
What we do instead
- One price, for everyone. The price you see is the price everyone pays.
- No "limited-time" pressure. Nothing is cheaper today than it will be next month. Decide when you're ready, not when a countdown tells you to.
- A real free trial, not a free plan. Every account starts with one month free on the 5 GB plan — the full product, no credit-card tricks — so you can decide on the merits.
The trial is the refund
A refund exists to undo a purchase you regret. Our trial exists so you never have to make that purchase until you're sure.
Every new account gets a full month on the complete product — every feature unlocked, no credit card required. That's not a watered-down demo or a 7-day teaser. It's a full month to bring in your real projects, your real notes, your real life, and decide for yourself whether Pothik fits. We think that's strictly better than a refund: you get to judge the product, not just take our word for it.
So, once you subscribe, it's final
Because you've already had a full month to evaluate everything before any money changes hands, purchases of a paid plan are final and non-refundable, except where required by law. There's no "try it for a month, pay, then ask for your money back" loop — the trying happens first, for free.
If you're not sure yet, that's completely fine — just keep using the trial. Subscribe only once you've decided Pothik is worth paying for.
Pay for storage, nothing else
Every feature in Pothik is included on every plan. You only ever choose how much storage you need:

What this means in practice
- One price, for everyone — no discounts, coupons, or countdowns.
- Use the trial properly. Add your real projects, write real notes, try the features you'd actually rely on — not just a quick look.
- No surprise charges. Plans are billed in advance and you can cancel anytime; cancelling simply stops future renewals.
- Decide before you pay, not after. That's the whole point.
